Holding the gate open.

Ushering in another seeker, holding the gate open as another man moves out  and away from shame. I hope his life can be blessed with JOY. Today I had the singular pleasure of living and being in an Exquisite Connection.

Thanks Sister Merry Peter for the reminder that everything is a reflection. All that comes before me is very much a reflection or myself.  Tonight I had the treat of seeing and meeting some of the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence. The work of these men as Sisters is an inspiration and a delightful blessing to the world.

I am happy and glad in this moment. Joyful to be brazen. Ecstatic to be free.

Kindness and Truth.

Expressing Kindness and Truth can be a path to unconditional positive regard. Being able to hold oneself with kindness and tell oneself the truth  in a kind way, can lead to holding oneself with a view of unconditional positive regard. Being compassionate with oneself can work as a model to be more able to be compassionate with others.

Dreaming ~ Sexy ~ Fluid ~ Daring

Today I will dream. Dream the big dreams that could be seen as fantasy, could be interpreted as wanting too much. Today I will dream the whole and wild parts of myself into being. This is sexy allowing the dream to verge into reality. There is something that is visceral, exciting, sexy about allowing the dreams to loom big and real and full into who I am. The fluid quality that comes into my being when I allow for the dream to loom into reality keeps me going, fires my being and pushes me to create and grow to grasp the dream into my being. I can create a crucible for the dream this way. I can dare the dream to grow as I blow on the embers of my dream to watch the flames burst forth and the dream come to the edge of fruition.

Today I will dream BIG. Play in the sexy light of how the dream can come to life.

Being generous always seems to smooth  me out. When I am generous I seem to attract my own good feelings from within. Generosity seems to be a salve for me. To give a little of anything, it could be a kind word or a bit of encouragement, makes me feel better about me. I feel and can experience that I am doing something that is generative and constructive.

Smiling, again this comes to me to write about smiling.

Smiling helps so much. The simple act of smiling creates a change in my attitude and a shift in my demeanour.  I know when I am smiling that I am taking myself less seriously. I know that I am breathing and allowing for life energy to move. Smiling helps with my attitude, I know that when I am smiling I am going to be more gracious. When I smile I know that I am alive and part of the energy of the earth.

Today I will smile. Besides it is the first day of October… I will even be happy today.

There is a sweet and delicious curiousity that is present today.

The weekend is fast approaching. Another Body Electric workshop and there will be men from far and near. I am always curious about who will show up. This curiousity builds in me and augments and amplifies my energy. There is a sweetness that has developed over the years as I have held the space for men to come together and explore on levels that are often taboo and or held so closely as to be inscrutable. My curiousity expands and grows over the weekend as these taboo subjects of sex and sexuality are opened up. My curiousity expands and grows over the weekend as that which is inscrutable becomes clear and manifests some new meaning.

Today I will be infused with curiousity and the sweet pleasure of preparing the nest.

Who made the world?

Who made the swan, and the black bear?

Who made the grasshopper?

This grasshopper I mean—

the one who has flung herself out of the grass,

the one who is eating sugar out of my hand,

who is moving her jaws back and forth instead of up and down—

Now she lifts her pale forearms and thoroughly washes her face.

Now she snaps her wings open, and floats away.

I don’t know exactly what a prayer is.

I do know how to pay attention, how to fall down

into the grass, how to kneel down in the grass,

how to be idle and blessed, how to stroll through the fields,

which is what I have been doing all day.

Sphincter

I hope my good old asshole holds out
60 years it’s been mostly OK
Tho in Bolivia a fissure operation
survived the altiplano hospital–
a little blood, no polyps, occasionally
a small hemorrhoid
active, eager, receptive to phallus
coke bottle, candle, carrot
banana & fingers –
Now AIDS makes it shy, but still
eager to serve –
out with the dumps, in with the condom’d
orgasmic friend –
still rubbery muscular,
unashamed wide open for joy
But another 20 years who knows,

In 1947 Reich was accused in the press of starting a “new cult of sex and anarchy”.

 I wonder if Sexual Freedom and Sexual Anarchy are often combined, misinterpreted or just plain confused for each other. Considering that many come out of a very repressive “domestication” or development around sex I am not surprised that some might see Sexual Freedom and Sexual Anarchy as the same thing. I like to think that I can seperate the two, and I hope that I am successful.
