Cooking and being inspired in the kitchen opens my spirit and feeds my soul.

I love to be in the kitchen cooking and preparing food for my husband, family and friends.

When I am in the kitchen and preparing food I am nourished by the love that I feel for what I am preparing. My imagination can go in all directions and I love how I feel when I am putting together ingredients, sampling what I have put together and finally presenting and offering my preparations for others to feed and nourish themselves with. I feel inspired, confident and full of pleasure when I am cooking.

I like and enjoy how I feel when I am cooking. I feel excited that I can find myself in the joyful and calm and knowing place within myself as I put together food that will appeal, nourish and excite those that gather around my table. I am grounded and powerful in the kitchen. I like this feeling and I know I can use this sense as a template for many other areas of my life.

Today I will enjoy cooking for a large crowd of friends.

Smiling is good for you!

The simple act of smiling can change the chemicals in your body… One of my most BEloved teachers has said that if you are smiling the likelihood of whoever you are with smiling back at you is greatly increased.

On the road of life … if I am in a state of pleasure I will likely be met by more pleasure.

Today I am Smiling …

Today the Juicy heart is made more Juicy by acknowledging the good.

I am in a daily practice of looking to see if an action, a movement, a thought is “good”, “constructive” or “expansive”. I want more of each of these and so I look to see where I am going, what I am doing, what I am getting and I monitor if each is “good”, “constructive” or “expansive”. If I am moving along and I am getting lots of “good” I continue to move in that direction. If I am doing something, anything, and I sense a lot of “destructive” energy I change course and start to do something more “constructive”. If I am getting a whole lot of “contraction” I shift things up so I start to get some “expansion”.

All choosing what I want and moving towards that desire.

Today I will be aware of my desire and let myself have what I want.

The JUICY Heart ❤

Today is about Gratitude.

Be Grateful. There is a simplicity to my practice for the day. Gratitude, no less, no more.

Today I will be grateful and today, I will express my gratitude. Today will be simple as I practice an Attitude of Gratitude.

Getting there is the fun!

I find that the building, the constructing, the ride there is what moves me and lets me flow. Side trips and excursions from the chosen path are always a plus!

Today I will enjoy the Journey wherever it goes.

Hello world!

Transferring from one blog tool to another… This one is new and seems to have a lot of features that I was missing in the former blog.

Transferring has been a challenge and a joy!

Today I will be curious… ❤

From a description of the work of American artist Grant Wood:

“very often people see something in it that reminds them of themselves”

I love to look at the Grant Wood print that is hanging in my gallery. The print is called “Spring in Town”. I often like to look at this print and see where i fit in, see what I am doing today, see how I can be all or perhaps nothing of what is in the scene.

I learn about myself from the reflections of myself that I see on a daily basis. From this learning I can choose to adapt, change, keep or discard, re-write, edit or  record.  Knowing and implementing choice can sometimes be challenging but as the young gardener in my print I am cultivating and from that cultivation the seeds I sow can be fallow or dry and others can flourish and blossom. In order for the garden to grow it must first be cultivated. Learning from the reflections of myself is a part of how I cultivate who I am.

Today I will look for the reflections of myself.

Today inspiration from

e.e. cummings

i like my body when it is with your
body. It is so quite a new thing.
Muscles better and nerves more.
i like your body. i like what it does,
i like its hows. i like to feel the spine
of your body and its bones, and the trembling
-firm-smooth ness and which i will
again and again and again
kiss, i like kissing this and that of you,
i like, slowly stroking the, shocking fuzz
of your electric fur, and what-is-it comes
over parting flesh . . . . And eyes big love-crumbs,

and possibly i like the thrill

of under me you quite so new

A favorite…

I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world.
I may not complete this last one
but I give myself to it.

I circle around God, around the primordial tower.
I’ve been circling for thousands of years
and I still don’t know: am I a falcon,
a storm, or a great song?

—— Rainer Maria Rilke

An inspiration for the day.

Like the rose with petals circling the core… the tower… the center. Layer upon layer and eternally opening to the seed, the heart.

The JUICE today comes from DREAMING.

Resting – Preparing – Dreaming…

The next new adventure begins in this moment as I prepare and dream for the creation of an EROTIC TEMPLE.

The new adventure excites me to my core as another group of men gather to create and explore the connection between the PHYSICAL body, the EROTIC body and the body of SPIRIT. In this adventure of delight and mystery we will build a TEMPLE of EROS. Glad to be revisiting Wildwood and the grounding earthyness of the land and the expanding strength of the sky all above the snaking Russian River.

I love my work, my dream and the juice it brings my life and heart!
