Building my resources today in preparation for the next two days.

I am giving myself plenty of time and space to build energy, focus and clarity for the days ahead. I am grateful today for all of the wealth of past experience.

Today I will revel in the abundance of choice that is created for me from the wealth of material that enriches my past.

Getting the JOB Done

Sometimes there is great joy in getting the job completed. Sometimes it feels like it was a lot of work. Sometimes it takes a lot of conversation and conflict resolution. Sometimes it just takes looking and sampling and trying it all out over and over and over… The process of getting a job to completion can sometimes seem interminable. Then finally there comes a point and one can say… Is this complete? Have I done all I can do?

Finally when you can answer… Yes, I have done all I can do.

Acknowledging that the job is complete. That all that can be done has been done…

I adore that moment when you can breathe a sigh of relief. Know that the job is done and that the process of doing can rest and the moments for acknowledgement can take place.

Tony and I just bought a new car. We have not bought a car in 20 years and this was a pleasure. We got to look and sample and do all kinds of research. Then we got to go out and test drive and finally after all of our exploration we made the choice and took the leap. The job is done. The work of making a choice is complete.

The new car will be here sometime next week. I am looking forward to the pleasure of all that is new and exciting… ❤

Exploration.

Exploring, going on a journey to find new and yet undiscovered territory. I love to explore and seek out new and sample unknown and move to the edge to see some new and until now unvisited place. This exploration could be within myself or on another part of the globe. Exploring with an open heart and mind and body brings me excitement and the pleasure of new discoveries.

Today I will explore, and seek new discoveries within myself

“You must ask for what you really want…”

Life is amazing when you begin to ask. Life begins to happen. That life is happening brings trust that we will be heard. Being heard means asking for more. Asking for more brings abundance. Abundance builds and grows in other areas and soon we can have a life that is full of what we have been asking for.

Don’t go back to sleep…

Thanks to Harry Faddis for the art and to Rumi for the poem and to all of the seekers who have carried this image with them, that I might have the honour to share.

Emerging from the test on Friday. Today is Monday and I feel like I just woke up after a long sleep. All went well. I am curious to see where this flows to next.

My heart is open and clear. My heart leaps with JOY!

In Blackwater Woods

by Mary Oliver

Look, the trees
are turning
their own bodies
into pillars of light,
are giving off the rich
fragrance of cinnamon
and fulfillment,

the long tapers
of cattails
are bursting and floating away over
the blue shoulders

of the ponds,
and every pond,
no matter what its
name is, is

nameless now.
Every year
everything
I have ever learned

in my lifetime
leads back to this: the fires
and the black river of loss
whose other side

is salvation,
whose meaning
none of us will ever know.
To live in this world

you must be able
to do three things:
to love what is mortal;
to hold it

against your bones knowing
your own life depends on it;
and, when the time comes to let it go,
to let it go.

Gratitude… ♥
I am grateful today for…
little things…
unspoken things…
the things I take for granted…
…for breath…
for much…
for dizzy and scared…
for brilliant and joyful…
for the really big gifts that life has given me…
for the small and tender memories…
for all the greatness of the all…
for every moment…

Today I will be grateful over and over … never counting simply BEing ♥

Grateful for the caress of your lips

Pleasure has been in the forefront for the past few days.

My great pleasure has actually been the meditative art of pressing Saris. Having cleaned these beautiful cloths that had adorned my body, they needed to be pressed. Doing this seeming chore was actually a meditative and delightful pursuit. Pressing the yards and yards of fabric woven, embroidered, painted and decorated allowed me to delve into an area where I had slowed down and there was little intrusion into my mind or other levels of my body.  Having brought my mind to rest, allowed for me to feel the pleasure that was there under the jumble of thoughts.

Pressing the Saris was a beautiful experience.

Today I will be in the simple beauty of restful pleasure.

Beauty Bestowed...

This time of year is always like the beginning to me. Transition is in the air.

The earth is preparing for the fall, trees and fruit and flowers are pulling the juice from the earth to enrich themselves, the light is changing in the sky, the weather moves in unfamiliar patterns and I feel like this is the transition into a new time.

And YES! this really is the transition into a new time. There is much to prepare for and lots to dream and scheme and plot and plan and get ready for. I pull the juice from my earth to ripen and enrich my experience.

September will bring a Body Electric workshop to Toronto that we have not had in many years. October will bring some new events into my coaching practice. November will bring some new elements as the Body Electric is here in Toronto again and I will be introducing some new elements into my breath and bodywork practice. December brings a trip to a meeting to plan for the NEW Body Electric and I am excited and happy for this great opportunity.

The real New Year will bring many new elements, several co-creations and of course there will be surprise.

I adore that all around me is getting ready for harvest. The fruit on the vine and branch is developing juice and flesh to burst forth with the ripe sweetness of the fall.

Today I will savour the summer and be active in preparing for the next transition. Loving and laughing and smiling as I live and breath.

Connections with other BEINGS make my life Juicy. ❤

When I feel connected and present with other beings I feel like my life is of value. When I communicate and give myself to the pleasure of another, I feel my life is connected to other beings. When I feel connected with others and my life, I feel JUICY and liquid and like the fabric of life is immeasurably rich.

Today I will let myself be connected and purposefully connect to whatever BEINGS cross my path. I will weave these connections into the rich and liquid fabric of my existance.

Connections – The richness of the fabric of my life.

Today’s blog is dedicated to my friend Conrad. I am so glad for our visit.
