Sometime I can become obsessed with a project…
Today when I mentioned this to my husband… I said something like … “I feel bad because I have become obsessed with this latest project” He in turn surprised me and replied. That my obsessions were some of my best attributes and sometimes the result of the obsessive work was some of my most brilliant creation.
I was surprised. I had always thought that those projects that could consume my entire energy were not my best moments… Sometimes I just have no clue of what those around me are truly thinking. I am glad my husband shared his experience. I am glad because I had a little insight into myself that I often do not see.

and on we GO! That word “ON” was very carefully chosen… Onward hoooo
Everything is full of contrast… light and dark, soft and hard, floating and still, fast and slow…
Finding the middle is a challenge and fun… The only thing that is not contrasted is the forward motion. I am moving ahead and there is nothing that indicates one step forward and two steps back.

Today is all about motion and keeping the momentum going.
Just a few hours perhaps a day or two to mount a new website for the Swimming Club that I belong to. There seem to be so many small details and I know we can take care of all of them as we move along. There is a pleasure and a joy in me that burns brightly as I follow passion and energy…
There is something about the light and shadow in this picture that stirs me today. There is something about the story of the Chiesa di San Moise that intrigues me… a site so overloaded with “ostentatious Baroque stone decorations that several statues were removed in 1878” a site that is given over to the glorification of an old Venetian family … There seems to me to be beauty and redemption in the painting and eternal JOY in the facade.

Abundance – Juicy Heart

Today I realized that I very often err on the side of ABUNDANCE. I very often make choices that fill my life with ABUNDANCE.
I often make more and make large and what I manifest can seem really HUGE
I don’t know or experience this as a BAD thing… very often many have a response to the bigness of this ABUNDANCE…
I don’t perceive this as anything bad… it is just a part of me.
Life is interesting, captivating and fun and filled with JOY when I am erring on the side of ABUNDANCE!
Today I will live in the largeness of ABUNDANCE and be JUICY and feel the JOY!

Journey Today – The Juicy Heart

The Journey
One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
