The number one comment or question that I receive on a daily basis asks for and about community. Where do men go to find community?

A community that is honest towards the nature and desires of men who love men. A community where you can be naked if you choose. A community where you can be honest about your thoughts, feelings and desires AND you can be in an environment that is Safe, Sane and Conscious. A community where there is little artifice and you are welcome to be yourself without a lot of role play and posturing. A place in the world where all of you is welcome.

At the Awaken Studio, the events and space have been designed for and actively seek the creation of a community of men who love men right here in Toronto. Join in and be a part of this new venture. Come on IN and be yourself.

Sunday December 16, 2012
The Monthly Touch Exchange event is scheduled for Sunday afternoon December 16th from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm.

Join with a group of like hearted men.

Participants will give and receive a touch that explores Taoist Erotic Massage techniques as taught by Joseph Kramer. These techniques designed to build and move energy through the body, offering a full body experience and leading for further knowledge of pleasure and desire.

This is a community event. Please bring guests and introduce yourself and them to the Awaken Studio. This is an open-house style event. There will be guests from all walks of life and all genders and identities.

Celebrating the New Year we will defy some conventions and honour others. By Dancing we will wake energy in our body, shake off the past, acknowledge where we have been, moving fluidly as we get warmed up for what will come along.

Wednesday Evenings Beginning January 9th 

Starting in January 2013 Wednesday evenings are a Salon for Men who LOVE Men and enjoy physical, erotic, sexual and spiritual connections with other men. These salons are for those who wish to share their journey and their pursuit of spirit in several realms.

The 9th will begin a monthly discussion group exploring Body Awareness.  Other Wednesday evenings will feature groups exploring: Spiritual Pursuits January 16th, Touch January 23rd  and Artistic Expression on January 30th.

I woke up this morning and went to sleep last night loving trees. I dreamt of the radiant green energy that radiates from the trees. I dreamt and fantasized about the radiant green energy that flows from my heart!

All this from the Breath – Movement – Meditation class last night at the Awaken Studio.

I am so glad that I opened the studio space for this. I am grateful for the wonderful pairing of Paul Galloro.

My body feels so great today as I channel the energy and power of the tree to my spine. My heart feels wonderful and light today as I feel the green energy seeping through me. Erotically and creatively I feel open and clear.

Grateful for the wonderful group of men who showed up for this event!

Life Force Movement – Thursday Evenings

Starting September 20th with Paul Galloro and Phillip Coupal

The first of the Fall 2012 evening offerings will begin on Thursday September 20th. We will be opening a series of evening sessions that will focus on Breath, Movement and Visualization. Life Force Movement will be offered from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm. The offering is 90 minutes of focused and facilitated Breathing, Movement and Visualization. I have teamed up with Paul Galloro to offer this event. The fee for these 90 minutes sessions will be $15.00 each and you can purchase a block of 10 sessions for $120.00. Life Force Creative Source – Wednesday Evenings

Starting September 26th

The second offering will begin Wednesday September 26th. This Awakening of Creative Source session will be an adventure and experiment delving into the artist within. As a group and as individuals we will play with drawing and painting. The evening’s sessions will utilize Breath and Sound to access the source for creating spirited expression through artistic media. Offered on alternating Wednesdays the sessions will run from 6:30 until 9:30. The fee for these 3 hour sessions is $35.00 (materials supplied). Welcoming all men into the exploration of our bodies the event is offered in a playful, honouring and safe environment to explore full body touch, breath, and full bodied experience of erotic energy. Monthly Massage Exchange – Sunday September 16th

The Monthly massage exchange is scheduled for Sunday September 16th. Adventure – Juicy Heart

It is wonderful to be in such a BIG adventure!

Yesterday as I picked up the paper off the streetcar seat this was the first article my eyes fell on.

The adventure is just beginning. You end up with something different than you expected. What will you discover? Flexibility and patience are key.

I was a bit stunned looking at this as I had just been to see a space. I was so totally disappointed. The room was alright, there were no amenities… those could be provided. The biggest sign that said beware was that there was no washroom in the space. Going seeing and being in all the disappointment actually had a lesson and that was I need a washroom as part of the space.

Today the adventure continues and is always beginning… I will seek and search and look some more. The right place will come up. The right thing has always come up.

I am still savouring the end of my coaching call yesterday. (Yes I have a personal coach! )

This last little tid-bit was about creating a place, a space where one can say YES!  And how very much I am involved and great at being in a YES place! and bringing others along with me.

YES ! I can.

YES! I am.

YES! I can do this.

YES! This is okay!

YES! I want more.

YES! I would like to try that.

YES! YES! YES!

I know that saying YES! all the time is not possible, however there is so much more possibility in YES or even a hesitant maybe than in the constriction and finality of NO. To be in a YES seems creative and full of juice. I am able to build far more when I say YES! than in any other mode.

There is so much permission required, so much openness and willingness to be able go towards possibility. The need to say YES! be open-ended, open-minded and create more possibility is a feature of what I have been doing in my work with clients.  I find myself on this wild voyage looking for a place, a home, a Center for YES!  A place for all folk to be able to get into the deep depths and say YES! a place where there is possibility rather than confinement. Creating this new YES! place opens my heart and although it scares me and pushes me to my very edge has me filled with the delight of abundance!

Today I will be creative and open and reopen to possibility and I will say YES in creative and new ways!
