Generosity -♥- Juicy Heart

Being generous is sometime very difficult.

Tears of Gratitude or Frustration

Being generous without being acknowledged for the generosity can be very challenging. Then continuing to be generous especially after being slapped or criticized for what you have given, even though you gave out of your best intention, is actually excruciatingly difficult. When all has been said and done and there is yet another slap that comes along, this shakes me and makes me want to be brittle and harsh. This final slap fills me with resentment and makes me want to be unkind. I must battle within myself to remain on my path which is one of generosity and kindness.

Being generous, beyond what one’s boundary might be, often does not work out, as it can lead to the resentment that I am now feeling.

There is a place in me where I must find my own wisdom about simply giving to get through the situation, over or out of the situation. Being generous can sometimes be the only road to go. Sometimes being generous while being in what seems a lack of generosity can be a struggle.

The struggle is in the surrender. Surrendering to the horrible situation, surrendering to the lack of understanding or dirth of kindness that is being given back can sometimes be a lesson. Ultimately, I hope that this lesson does not affect my ability to give and be kind, for me to seek understanding. I hope that when all is done and the ending has played out that there can be at least a small sense of peace. I know that I am certainly glad each time a small piece of this separation, this divorce per say, comes to its own conclusion. It saddens me that what I once thought was  benevolent and kind, can be so unconscious and patently unkind. I must surrender to my hurt and get back up, dust myself off and assume my own personal power.

In finding my personal power, I must recognize my contraction into the bitter, resentful and hurt place and surrender to my pain and, choose my power. I can be powerful when I change my mind, change my thoughts and my heart. I must follow my resolve to be kind and generous and know that by being on my path I will feel better and be more able to be a loving human being no matter what is happening on the outside.

Generosity! Sometimes it can be a struggle and then when I am powerful and in my own sense of kindness and generosity, I am in my self, my power and being true to who I am.

Came across a posting this morning that asked “How connected are you to your inner child?”

This got me to wondering about how one can truly be connected to that inner child.

The clarity that came to me, was that play was the way that I was able to connect and access the boundless energy of the inner child.

Much of the work that I do in groups is about play. Exploring how we as a group can play together, have fun together, be wild and creative together, be still and connected together. Play and access to what is known as “Beginners Mind” or a place within our self where we are lacking negative judgements and harsh comparison. Accessing this new-found or rediscovered “naive” place can be a springboard into the joy and abandon of play, allowing for surrender into the new, creative and vibrant.

Play can enliven and stimulate LIFE Force, Kundalini, Chi.

Play can be a place where shame and guilt can be left to the side. Play can be a place where freedom and courage can reside. Play can be a portal into all of the potent and powerful creative source of the inner child.

This time of year is the so exciting for me! This time of year is full of the richness and vitality of all that is new even though the pallour of decay is in the air.

I adore what was in my horoscope particularly the part about decay… It is only from clearing up the dead and dried up stuff clearing it away that we can access the fresh and vital parts that are so alive. I wonder what will come forward as breakdown, I wonder what will come forward as dissolution. I look forward to all that is fresh and new under all that is old and tired.

Counselling

In my Counselling Practice I offer my clients a chance to be heard and understood, as they sort out feelings and emotions. Helping those who utilize my traditional Counselling Service to feel understood, hopeful and relieved are some of the outcomes from this branch of my Practice

Relationship Counselling

In the Relationship Counselling service of my Practice I offer my couples, both married and those in a less traditional relationship a conversational arena to build trust and create a unified vision. Using my long standing experience in relationship and my broad familiarity with couples the service that I provide is meaningful and effective.

Coaching

In my Coaching Practice clients can bring goals and future plans and we as a co-creative team create sustainable and attainable methods to break down problems and reach goals that might have seemed unattainable. Coaching can be effective in person in face to face meetings or by telephone.

Clients often experience more than what they initially set out to attain.

Groups

I Facilitate Peer Counselling Groups that happen on a regular basis. In addition I facilitate Adult Erotic Education Experiences in a humanistic manner. Groups take place in a comfortable and supported environment where clients are encouraged to feel safe and secure as they discover new ways to be in Social or Group settings.

My Toronto Counselling– Coaching– Bodywork practice focuses on providing service to gay men and gay male couples.

I do provide counselling and coaching services to both men and women. I see clients individually and as couples. My office is conveniently located at the awaken studio in downtown Toronto. The space that I work from is both comfortable and private. I maintain office hours in the evening, on weekends and of course I see clients during the day. I provide one on one sessions for individuals and couples in addition I facilitate experiential learning at workshops and in small groups.

I provide Bodywork and Group Facilitation services.

The Bodywork I provide centers on men and male couples. I facilitate men’s groups focusing on conscious heart centered touch, breath and sexuality. I work with individuals and groups of men to explore and learn from our Erotic nature.

Experiential Embodied Erotic – Workshops

Sex Education like you have NEVER Experienced

Workshops and Experiential Events to promote Education and Encourage  Experience to Explore Erotic Embodiment as taught by Joseph Kramer. Taking place monthly at the awaken studio at 270 Carlaw Avenue in Downtown Toronto.

Inspired by the modern teachers of erotic awareness, the teachings and principles of the Body Electric School and principles of Tantra these weekend workshops bring a fresh and up-to-date approach to Sex Education, Conscious Eroticism and Body Awareness.

These weekend events are sometimes challenging and sometimes exhilarating. The atmosphere, with clear communication, effective listening and basic guidelines, promotes Safe, Sane and Consensual behaviours. These workshops will bring participants new awareness and new knowledge as the men involved create community and new found safety, intimacy, connection and empowerment in relation to themselves, their relationship to others and the community that surrounds them.

There are no prerequisites for any of these workshops, an introductory interview with the event Facilitator is required before registration is complete (this can happen in person or on the telephone). The workshops are open to all those who identify in the world as men. Weekend events will explore: Taoist Erotic Massage, Anal Touch, Full Bodied Non Ejaculatory Orgasm and Ecstatic Sexual Experience. The workshops involves nudity and full body touch. The techniques that are used include: touch, breath, meditation and heartfelt communication. The atmosphere is respectful, accepting, playful, honouring and reverential.

Fees are $295.00 for the weekend (about 24 hours). Sorry there is no accommodation or food within this price. Snacks and water are provided. Some scholarships available for those in need and there are discounts for early registrations up to 14 days before each workshop.
