Please find below an update for the Body Electric School in Toronto.

January 1st and 2012, is dawning across the globe. There are many exciting and new developments for the Body Electric School here in Toronto. Toronto is becoming a thriving center for the exploration of erotic and sexual energy.

The first exciting new development is the offering of new workshops co-created and co-taught by myself and William McMeniman.

I have included the dates for all Touch Events taking place in Toronto thru January 2012.I am also glad to let you know a complete listing of Toronto Touch Offerings for 2012.

The New Events from Body Electric School for 2012 are unfolding and coming together. The Body Electric School http://www.thebodyelectricschool.com/ has developed a new website and there are new and convenient ways to register for all of the school events.

Please be patient and if you have any trouble with the new site, please let me know and I will do my best to assist you. I hope that the new website can offer more community building tools for our rapidly expanding community.I hope that the new events will foster education and develop community here in Toronto.

There are two new workshops with the Body Electric School in Toronto.The two are: Power Surrender and Intimacy, exploartions in BDSM, in Toronto in June 2012and Outside the Boxes – Celebrating the Queer Body Erotic for All Genders in December 2012. I feel both honour andprivilege to be able to offer these workshops in our ever expansive community.Toronto is growing rapidly and the Body Electric is working to reflect this growth by offering more diverse programming.

You will find the dates for both the Spring 2012 and Fall 2012 Celebrating the Body Erotic workshops for men.I have also included a listing for the Celebrating the Body Erotic Level 2 workshop offered in Toronto in October 2012.

Massage Exchange – January 2012

The massage exchange runs much like a mini CBE weekend, with a small inner and outer circle connection to open the group, a mini review of the massage strokes and big draw. Gathering will take place from 12:30 until 1:00 and the doors will close at 1:00. Each massage will last for around an hour and a half and you will have the opportunity to both give and to receive. Timing will run from 1:00 till about 6:00.We have half an hour or so to cleanup and you will be on your way by 6:30

The fee for these exchanges is $40.00 per person.

Celebrating the Body Erotic – 2012

A first step with the Body Electric School.

Come explore your erotic potential through the mind, the body and the heart using conscious breath, movement, process work and massage. When men take responsibility for their erotic education, they realize how much there is to learn about awakening the erotic energy that lies within all of us. They begin to realize the satisfaction that comes from learning how to both give and receive pleasure through erotic touch.

The workshop focuses on the entire body and is conducted in a setting that is playful, safe and honoring.

A few benefits of this work are: • The participant gains greater acceptance of himself as an erotic being, both physically and mentally. • He discovers ways to develop a more satisfying erotic relationship with others. • He becomes more aware of spiritual dimensions in his erotic explorations.

Celebrating the Body Erotic is a full two-day, often clothes-off workshop (9am-7pm) for those who are ready to vigorously explore new levels of feeling, both within themselves and within a community of men.

Completion of CBE is a prerequisite for attending the CBE Level 2, and Power Surrender and Intimacy, as well as most intensives, advanced workshops and retreats offered by The Body Electric School.

Celebrating the Body Erotic Level 2 – 2012

Exploring Anal Touch

October 27th and 28th taught by Michael Cohen

This workshop extends and deepens the learning of Celebrating the Body Erotic with a focus on anal pleasure and erotic touch.

Emphasis is placed on reclaiming anal pleasure and play as wholesome, safe, and hygienic. Participants learn to give and receive external anal touch that both nurtures and energizes. Internal touch is also an option for those who choose.

Experience full-body sensations that open you to new depths of relaxation, pleasure and self-awareness. Learn new techniques that will satisfy and inspire those you touch.

All are welcome – whether you are a novice or experienced in anal touch. Celebrating the Body Erotic Level 2 is a full two-day clothes-off workshop (9am-7pm).

Power Surrender and Intimacy – 2012

June 8th, 9th and 10th taught by Dave Allen

Join in a journey that honors the dynamics of S/M play and its role in expanding self-awareness. This workshop creates a safe space for establishing connection, exploring intense body sensation and expressing intentional physicality. Along with erotic touch, emphasis is placed on creating conscious intentions, learning how to know and ask for what you want, and practicing exquisite attention. Methods used include spanking, bondage, flogging and other methods of high body stimulation as well as reclaiming masculine icons for ourselves. Expect heightened awareness of your body’s capacity for sensation, a greater sense of personal empowerment, and appreciation for the connection between the divine energy of power and the human energy of surrender.

The workshop begins Friday 7pm to 10, Saturday 9-7pm and 9 to7pm on SundayPrerequisite: Celebrating the Body Erotic.

How often has the world tried to force you into the gender binary, asked you to assure it that your pronouns matched what it saw rather than what you felt, required that your genitals conform to expectations, demanded that you deny the complexity of all that is you?

What if you could come into a community in which all expressions were possible? Where gender, sexuality and expression were aligned according to your truth? Where no one assumed what parts would go where?

Welcome to Out of the Boxes: Celebrating the Queer Body Erotic!Come explore your erotic potential through the mind, the body and the heart using conscious breath, movement, process work and massage. Awaken the erotic energy that lies within all of us. Through a queer tantra lens, explore archetypal masculine and feminine energies and the myriad ways they can be expressed. Break down silos of gender and sexuality.

• This workshop focuses on the entire body and is conducted in a container that is playful, safe and reverential. Using carefully designed experiential embodiment practices participants will:
• explore the innate wisdom of your body • expand awareness, sensation and pleasure through conscious breath, movement, touch, and communication, where each person’s choices and rhythms are honored
• learn how to more deeply tune in to your body, mind, heart and spirit
• to receive more fully from yourself and others, and to give without losing yourself
• learn to give and receive full-body massage and to focus on the healing potential of sensual/spiritual energy
• learn from your own and others’ unfolding, and feel awed witnessing and supporting our uniqueness and commonalities

Out of the Boxes: Celebrating the Queer Body Erotic is a 2 1/2 day workshop (Friday evening, all day Saturday and Sunday), often clothing-optional, for those who are ready to vigorously explore new levels of feeling and aliveness, both within themselves and within a community of queers.

NOTE: Couples are welcome to attend Out of the Boxes: Celebrating the Queer Body Erotic and have the option of working together or with the other participants.

Bridging the Energy of Earth and Sky with the Energy of the Heart

A Two Day Exploration of Erotic Energy flow.

Dancing on the Ecstatic Path is a new exploration. Partnering with teachers from various traditions has been a goal of mine. In February of 2012, William McMeniman from the Boston area will be teaching with me. The workshop is two days of exploration.

The workshop will explore: touch, movement and breath while delving into an ecstatic experience. The exercises are designed to stimulate an introspective opening into the body and the body’s response to touch. Touch will take place in various positions and not always use the table. There will be some new levels of connection and communication explored within this Erotic Education offering. The workshop will take place over two days, from 9:00 am until 6:00 pm each day and will be held at the Metro room of the Ramada Plaza.

The fee is $300.00 for the two days. Registration is required prior to this event.
