Courage…

Courage to ask…

Courage under the barrage of information …

Courage under fire …

Courage … feeling the fear and doing it anyway …

I feel inspired to be courageous as I have just been in the presence of courage. The men who I was with on the weekend were very courageous and that informs me and inspires me… My dear friend William is full of courage and that inspires me… My husband fills me with courage as I see him move forward… I am more able to gather courage to me as I feel the courage around me. 

I like how I feel when I am wrapped in the warmth of courage and determination. I like how I feel when I am aware of the clarity I can maintain when I am filled with a sense of courage. I feel like I can be an inspiration when I can be aware and present to my courage and the source of that flow of information and awareness.

Today I will move forward filled with courage and inspiration.

Sometime I can become obsessed with a project…

Today when I mentioned this to my husband… I said something like … “I feel bad because I have become obsessed with this latest project” He in turn surprised me and replied. That my obsessions were some of my best attributes and sometimes the result of the obsessive work was some of my most brilliant creation.

I was surprised. I had always thought that those projects that could consume my entire energy were not my best moments… Sometimes I just have no clue of what those around me are truly thinking. I am glad my husband shared his experience. I am glad because I had a little insight into myself that I often do not see.

The Journey

One day you finally knew
what you had to do, and began,
though the voices around you
kept shouting
their bad advice–
though the whole house
began to tremble
and you felt the old tug
at your ankles.
“Mend my life!”
each voice cried.
But you didn’t stop.
You knew what you had to do,
though the wind pried
with its stiff fingers
at the very foundations,
though their melancholy
was terrible.
It was already late
enough, and a wild night,
and the road full of fallen
branches and stones.
But little by little,
as you left their voices behind,
the stars began to burn
through the sheets of clouds,
and there was a new voice
which you slowly
recognized as your own,
that kept you company
as you strode deeper and deeper
into the world,
determined to do

UnWRAPPED – ♥ – Juicy Heart

Today I am UnWRAPPED

I usually carefully put myself together, wrapping myself up, making certain non of the loose ends are showing. There seems to be no wrapping today. I am full of all of my passions and full of all of my fears and full of all of the joys of my life.

I am particularly aware of how raw I feel when I hear, inconsistencies and unbalanced elements. Hearing imbalances, untruths, lies has me feel a little raw today. The world can be cruel and unkind. I will need to be extra generous with my own self care.

I will be sweet and kind and generous and finally extraordinarily gracious with myself in order to compensate for the: gas lighting, crazy making, unbalanced emotional response that takes place in me as I hear lies or untruths.

The sweetness and graciousness will allow me to glow. The glow will let me be safe and know that it is alright to be UnWRAPPED.
