What is growing in your garden?
Living with shame can be toxic… dry… frozen. A life full of regret, anxiety and fear.
Living without shame can be verdant… juicy… hot. A life full of joy, peace and love.
I believe that when we drop the layers of shame that we carry in our lives we can live more fully and freely. We will have more time and energy to express the verdant nature of our selves and true heart.

Creating a sense of Safety for all that is and developing and experiencing a sense of Comfort.
Becoming a better LOVER.
After the event at the Awaken Studio yesterday I was struck by how often men would comment on how safe the exploration felt. From that sense of safety these men seemed to derive a sense of comfort in the experience. This in-turn seemed to release a sense of pleasure into the room.
My question to myself was, “How did that happen?”
Building Safety
All these above and being able to hold the part of one’s intention where one can access a sense of graciousness and kindness. This graciousness and kindness concentrated on oneself, the other and the group. This is when the sense of comfort comes into play and the sense of safety within is amplified and then begins to move through the individual, the couple or the group.
When we are breathing and smiling and connecting to the other and our highest powers are being utilized. One might find that one can be a “better” LOVER.
NOT, to say that we are not wonderful LOVERS to begin with and these elements of concentration and physical release in the face for fears, anxiety, critical self thought, self doubt and strong emotion can bring us into a place where we can connect and find ourselves in that Exquisite and Ecstatic state where we can feel everything that we might be and we are joined in giving and receiving in a what can be described as a Sacred Union.
I live my life in widening circles
that reach out across the world.
I may not complete this last one
but I give myself to it.

This New Years Eve seems different. As I look at what I want to let go of and what I want to bring more of in this New Year, this time of opportunity. I realize how grateful I am for all that has happened to me in the past 365 days. I have been blessed with many life lessons. These lessons have sometimes hurt, however, they have contributed to the place I am now and to what I feel now.
I am looking forward to growing yet again. Growing into a dancing happy man. A man who can ebb and flow in that place that I will call ecstasy. That place that is all of everything and at the same time full of nothing.
I am looking forward to the growth of community around me as I expand and develop and charge the Awaken Studio, a place for all men to find their way into BEing all that they can BE.
